Welcome Back

Went MIA for 2 weeks or so, before deciding to blog.

I was at Sun Tian's house for past 2 saturdays, going there for exercise and Nitendo Wii games. Had a very sinful lunch where I had a bowl of laksa and then pizza/kfc for the subsequent week.

Working these few weeks can really take away my life, if not for Aom, and my chat buddies, I would have already "die" long long ago.

My replacement came in this week monday, had a brief introduction to my section only. Taught him a few stuff, and i thought that he can work well in the future. Hopefully, he can learn things faster. The good thing is that he has initiative in work. But if you are thinking that i have an easy life, then you are wrong.

The stupid man-management system yet produce another stunt for us, making me and my other section colleagues worked for something that we shouldn't be even doing.

Therefore, we have to work very late until 10 pm. Zzz. We had our 1st ever dinner with all of our section colleagues.

Investigation still ongoing

Had a couple of email corresponded with mobtv today and they are unable to reveal any information upon my request. The admin assistance said that he will resend activation email shortly. I shall see whether the activation email can reach my inbox or not.

So, that's the thing that i can do so far.

Booked air tix and hotel and everything is confirmed. Just waiting for the day to arrive.

Investigation Launched

Intending to sign up a mobtv account on sunday morning. After completing all the neccessary fields, the mobtv database came back to me and informed me that my NRIC number is already exist.

I was very surprised with it. I sent an email to mobtv telling them the problem I faced. Getting a reply from stating that "I" signed up in Oct 2006. Since the transaction between the user and mobtv is such as the same process like purchasing movie tickets via online websites, I am sure that (if i signed up), there would be a transaction record of this in my bank account.

I got my bank book to check through the histories and made calls to the bank for more details. Spending like 20+ mins, it was confirmed that in the month of Oct 2006, there were only 2 debit card transactions made, and none of them involved with Mediacorp.

In addition, mobtv will send a notification email to that email account so that it can be activated. Again, there wasn't.

With the above 2 factors, I believe that someone used my NRIC to signup for a mobtv account without my knowledge. Whatever it is, I will seek assistance with mobtv to get more information.

Disappointment

I had utterly disappointed on how things go. I'm sad, beyond words can describe. Though I expect at some stage it will died off, but i never thought it will ended so much early.

Well, life still goes on, and I have to move on.

Goodbye National Stadium

Went to National Stadium to immerse myself with the closing down ceremony with my sec sch buddy and some of his and his' friends. Reached there at around 4+ pm. Waited for people to arrive and shortly after that we were settled down at the stadium.

With the "spotlight" (best known as Sun) shining directly to my grp of friends, we are enjoying the hot weather as well as cursing it. Entertainment kick-off with the veteran players from both countries coming together. It was a indeed a very slow-pace match, as expected, but how can we blame them. It's a special feeling for even a spectator when ex-international players turn up for the match. What's more, I finally can see my goalkeeper idol, David Lee (other than Peter Schmeichel) playing right in front of me.

Went to buy drink at half-time, the queue was so long that shanhe and I didn't realise that we queued for 30+ mins and in the end, we were just in time to see the veteran match finished. -.-"

We were waiting eagerly for the aussie match and in the meantime we were in for a pre NDP 07 celebration state where we were greeted by:

7.26 pm. Singapore VS Australia


Everyone on the pitch took up their position.

Singapore lost to Australia 3-0 with a couple of bad lucks and bad refeering (again). Hit the post twice, given offside when it is not and of course not for me to play. I always believe that Lionel Lewis can't even play for Singapore, err, if not that i am short. (ok, that's a crap)

Off-the-pitch, we were also enjoying ourselves with an Australian supporters rallied the crowd.



The atmosphere was great but it was sad that Australia won the game by 3-0

Left the National Stadium and headed down to Orchard to meet up with Shirong for a late-night movie.
