Weekend

Interesting weekend for this week.

On Saturday

Initially met up with my thai trip people for discussion of the programme, only to cancel for some reason.

Then to plan up with mini-FOC people for outing to accompany me to shop for pant, and jeans.

And for some reason, the thai trip discussion is back and i have no choice but to cancel the FOC people outing.

The progress was good. Programme was planned for the whole trip. And i got a special hideout i am going to bring my friend to next time!

Bought a G2000 pant and t-shirt. Stills searching for a jeans though.

Then we had dinner at Dohby Ghaut Exchange before i went to PS bus stop to wait for bus.

While waiting for bus, i saw somebody which gave me an insulting sms later in the night.

On Sunday

Waked up at 0545 hrs for PAssion Run at East Coast Park. Luckily Sun Tian had an apartment over there and I do not have to wake up so early.

Event started at around 6.30 am while my category started an hour later. And unfortunately, I saw the somebody's boyfriend which reminded me of that somebody. But it's a good thing, it kind of fired me up from a cooling and relaxing morning.



20 seconds before the run commenced

Result was pretty poor finishing at around 1 hr 13 mins, stopped running 4 times in between.

Then come the lucky draw. I think nobody is interested in the lucky draw as we took 2 hours to give away 40 prizes. Unbelievable. Below is the video excerpts from the ground.



Wash-up at Sun Tian's house again. Thanks for the stay. Hmm, had a heavy brunch of Duck rice adding with tau-foo, egg and rice.

We were joined by raquel, lekmeng and weiqing in sun tian's house. Watched some video and off we go to Chinatown to meet up with Elyn.

Had dinner over there as well.

Then down to PS intending to watch movie but cancel it off due to the lack of proper seating arrangement.

Walked around there as well and all of us went off from there.

Had a tiring weekend.

Those thing aside;

Anyway, I am going shopping this saturday.

Fixed items on hand to buy are G2000 Pant, Jeans.

Optional items are belt, and a couple of shirt/pant to change my usual image.

I will be staying over at Sun Tian's house after all the shopping thing as I will be attending a running event at East Coast Park on sunday.

The meeting time will be at around 6.30 am. So it's impossible to reach there at that time from my house.

On a positive note

This week is my planned social-gathering week where I met up with friends whom i didn't meet up for months.

Start off on tuesday, met up with jennifer for dinner and we were joined up with joshua and guijie at Tampines Mall. Such a bully, leaving me and guijie long way home.

On Thursday, joined up with the Ignition Team for their class bbq at kovan. Ya, i'm kinda extra. Nonetheless, i enjoy making friends though i am shy by nature.

Confirmed

Alright, it's confirmed now. Received my first recall order to call up for reservist duties.

I think it's rather unfair, consider that I ORD later than the others and was called up for reservist duties early than the others as well.

9th Jul to 4th Aug. I'm not mentally prepared and in fact, i am very reluctant.

I have not enjoy the civilian life for not more than a year, technically, it's only 10 months. But what can i do? My father was worst, he was called up for his 1st reservist duties only 6 months after his ORD. So after all, i wasn't that bad.

Decided to stay at home today as i dun feel like seeing some people. Nothing much for this weekend. Sat; Went for driving lesson. I slept at 8 pm and woke up around 2 am. Can't do anything much except for blogging. As for sun; Going for driving lesson again, then thai lesson and then to meet up with jennifer, joshua, vanessa for movie, then going down to novena to collect my race pack.

It's pretty weird that everytime i am about to go to bangkok, there would be negative happen, except for 1 occasion. Looking at the clips from the news report, it seemed they are rallying in Democracy Monument, so it's rather a safe distance away from my hotel and the places of interest i would be going except for Chao Praya River. But it gotta see how. Nobody seems interested to plan for the programme or at least voice out the places they dun want to go.

Will be arranging to meet up with various people before i go overseas, with lekmeng and raquel lined up. But i got a very bad feeling that it will be "empty" at the end.

Thinking of arranging to meet up with madeline, shuoke and their respective boyfriends (think so), chat buddy and yj on14th june.

And my always-lost twin whom i always can't contact her. So text me or something when you see this as i am not hearing from you from msn, sms, etc..

For now, I seriously can't enjoy the thai trip i am going on the 26th of june.
