Exciting programme

Hi all (and me in the future), just to update some programme for this whole week.

To start off, I bought Andrea Bocelli's CD again. I guess i start to hook to his songs. Anyway, you should listen to it. But if you dun want to buy, you can borrow the CDs from me.

Next, I will be attending my 1st english-speaking seminar on some finance thing. Not really a big thing but at least it helps (i hope) in controlling my expenditure from the income i have. Hope to gain some knowledge in handling such thing. It will be on this coming saturday, 1st march, at Suntec between 2 to 5 pm.

Surfed singnet website, trying to find out the expiry date for my internet contract and found out that it will be in Jul. Ok, so i went to check out the new contract offer and found that Nitendo Wii is on the list! Omg, It would be good if i can accquire that via the contract package as it will definitely be cheaper than buying the console itself. The problem is, will this package hold until May? I pretty hope so...

My bro's going to thailand this week for overseas army training and I was intending to get him to help me to extend my Happy prepaid sim card expiry date but to my dismay, there isn't any 7-11 shop over there. So, unfortunately, I have to trouble Pin to help me to buy a top-up card, send me the serial no. and I will pass it on to my bro via SMS so that he can update it.

Pin will be coming to singapore also at this weekend. Hope she will enjoy her stay over here.

Didn't hear from my twin for quite some time. Hope there's something out from it somehow. Hope she is doing fine.

Lost Taste

After just got out of an "indigestion" recently, another part of my body start to malfunction. I just realised that I had lost my sense of taste. Though it's not very serious as I am still able to make up of the taste, but it's a very worrying matter. Shall wait till this weekend and see whether is there any improvement, otherwise, i will seek chinese medication.

This year "profit" for CNY'08 is $309. I can't remember of how much i got last year but i guess it should be around the same. This can be a very good money for me to save up. Of the angbao distributed by the Govt, I will be receiving $600, which breaks down to the $300 Growth Dividends, $200 GST credit and $100 NS-committment.

Unfortunately for me, who just started work, the govt didn't cut the tax rate for CPF, instead gave a 20% off for income tax in Assessement Year 2008.

Whatever it is, the spending Budget was constructively well-spent.

Had a change of music genre recently, i bought Andrea Bocelli CD from gramophone. Don't worry, it's a very cheap deal. The CD cost me $11.90 and comes with a free CD giveaway by Gramophone. Well, i thought the money was well spent. Listen to his songs; a very nice voice.

Btw, the genre of the music is Opera/Musical kind.

Dividends

Send over $800 of dividends to my parents. That's a huge amount of money.

But that also means i have a lot of savings! :)

Lunar Year 2008

I decided to abandon my planned entry as mentioned in the previous entry. Moving on will be updating my life (as well as penning down for future use)

1st of all were all the CNY stuff. It's the rat year, so hopefully it's a witty start for everyone.
Cut the crap. Haha. Taking the angbao feels rather good for a start after working overnight on the day before eve of chinese new year.

Went back to main office on the day of reunion dinner to get some document signed and prior to that was so terribly surprised to see my beloved similar me - my twin. And i still dun know why she likes to hit me whenever she sees me.

Then headed back home to take a nap. Woke up for reunion dinner and stayed up all night until like 5.30 am where my parents woke up then i went to sleep.

First day of angbao collection began at around noon time where we visited our neighbours, where relatives came, and where we went to our relatives' side.

Second day was relatively the same where the count of the angbao is increasing

As this year coincides of weekends, it added on that with house visiting on sat and sunday to my friends' houses.

Chatted with my cousin yesterday night and she showed me how's the celebration over there is like. And suddenly the urge of visiting them became very strong and thus i had decided to drop by KL/Klang at the end of this year, if time permits, for a strictly relatives-visiting tour. To think back, it'd been 5 to 6 years since i last went back to malaysia.

As much as I like to travel to Thailand, going to Malaysia excites me as well.

I'm looking forward to my trip to Malaysia as well.

PS: This time round, my mother is really going to kill me
