today's tone was better, relax than any other days this week. of course.. like any other TRACOM chalet, i went for a swim today during lunch time and skipped jogging with my colleagues because i;ll be meeting sun nu for jogging.

ok, like i said work was better and relax, therefore i am able to do some stunt with my goggles. haha..

well, met up with my sun nu, we actually ran for abt 600 m and then we stopped coz we realised that the terrain is unsuitable for us to carry on jogging, so we walked / strolled instead.

btw, i got job lobang, anyone interested? from 10 am to 6 pm on sat.

Had a slightly great day today.

Work, eat, then down to swimming, get myself tan. Jog after work.

And this will be my programme for the next at least 2 weeks.

ok, 2nd rd of world cup had unfolded and been playing for a couple of matches. Placed a bet on por-holland match in which i bet $10 and won $33.50.

gd luck? maybe.. but it was also some part that i think por is a greater team. anyway, up to date, my winnings is 200+.. that's quite healthy.

oh well, extract a line from the 7 pm show.

Ok, woke up at 2.50 am by mad's call, first to say, i wanted her to do so since she isn't going to sleep, 2ndly i placed a bet on the match aust-croatia..

was fuming with the chances rued by the REFEREE. i was so disappointed with the way the referee handled the match. The match was quite even, that's something i dun deny but aust had the luck to win the match but was rued by the referee, and same goes for my winning bet which is $30+. phew, i cursed this referee. i guess next time i am going to consider referee in my prediction column.

ok enough of the say. i was looking forward to the programme later on where and when i will be chilling with my sun nus.

alrite, i went to mad's house haha.. early in the morning.. contacted her at 0830 hrs. after a morning madness which ends ard 5+ am, oh.. haha.. both of us were tired. but i guess i was more enthusiastic ba.. :p haha

ok. so we played a game of zombie and surfed the net a little while. and luckily yj comes a few 10+ odds mins before the rain started to rain heavily.

headed for breakfast in which both of them FORCED (:p hahaha.. just kidding ah) me to treat them. Why? Coz i collected $184.50 of winning tixs from Singapore Pools. haha

took a lot of shots, omg.. i think and i'm waiting to get those photos to be compiled. we slacked, played xbox, scrabble, and THEY ALL PLAYED ME!

hahaha, omg, i think i am quite lazy lahz, i'm hooked on Xbox, and watching soccer.

Xbox is the main reason why i didn't been blogging since sunday! haha..

okok.. erm.. basically it's been nice these 4 days. and i'd been the clown yesterday.

arranged a jogging session with my colleague after work, so we changed our attire and when i took out my running shoe, to my horror:



same side of different shoes! argh! if it's different side, i wouldn't mind wearing, since i intend to wear it for jogging and not going home.

in the end, i wore my friend's shoe and jog.

ok.. after last night soccer match, i calculated my winnings for the bets i played -> i won a total of $102, considering that i played $10 or $20 a match. i think $102 is considered quite a lot. and yes. $102 is the winnings after deducting the betting money.

Father's Day

ok.. today's Father's Day. Did nothing, because my bro and i wanna make it the next day so as to make it a surprise for my father. ehh.. nice of us eh?

went to Sun tian's house and borrow his Xbox and some board games for this fri chill session. damn.. the bag is damn heavy. i think i may need to return his stuff phase by phase.

and THANKS Sun Tian for lending me his Xbox.. will return u some weeks, not more than a month.

then shortly returned home from Bedok, i went out to meet my Sis. at al-ameen for dinner. and on the way, i saw Meiting. my pri sch classmate, and we chatted on the bus. ahh~ a pity that i didn't take photo with her because i forgot abt it..

we alighted at the same place and i accompanied to wait for her to transit bus.

met up with my sis at our meeting place. thought she could treat me coz she was LATE!

based on a true story

This is based on a true story.........it's very
touching.. U have to read this.

A True Story

A rich businessman had a beautiful
daughter, who fell in love with a guy who was a cleaner.

When the girl's father came to know about their love,
he did not like it at all, and so began to protest about it.

Now it happened that the two lovers decided to
leave their homes for a happy future. The girl's father started
searching for the two lovers but could not find them.

At last, he accepted their love and asked them
to come back home in a
local newspaper. Her father said "If you both
come back I will allow you to marry the guy you love,
I accept that you loved each other truly."

So in this way, their love won and they returned home.

The couple went to town to shop for the wedding
dress. He was dressed
in white shirt that day. While he was crossing
the road to the other
side to get some drinks for his wife, a car came
and hit him and he died on the spot.
The girl lost her senses. It was only after sometimes that
she recovered from her shocked. The funeral and
cremation was the very next day because he had died horribly.

Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream
in which she saw an old lady.
The old lady asked her mother to wash the
blood stains of the guy from her daughter's dress as soon as
possible. But her mother ignored the dream.

The next night her father had the same dream, he
also ignored it.
Then when the girl had the same dream the next
night, she woke up in fear
and told her mother about the dream. Her mother
asked her to wash the
clothes which have blood stains immediately.

She washed the stains but some remained. Next

She was very tired.

alone at home, someone
knocked the door. When she opened the door she
saw the same old lady
of her dream standing at her door. She got very

The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue
object, which shocked the girl. She asked "What is this...?"

OK.. yesterday was bad. i worked OT till 8.30 pm coz of some outstanding things that need to hand in the next day morning. and after changing and some clearing-up i left at 8.40 pm.

I have to walk ard for near 10 mins to reach to the bus stop that i am going to board. When i was only a few metres away from the bus, i realised that i didn't take my EZ-link card. HOLY SHIT. ok so i have to walk back to my office which took 10 mins of my time. then another 10 mins to the bus stop. and for the past 30 mins, i was around the same place. like a mad-man walking to and fro

beside that, i went to work the next day which i am the earliest to report. gosh i think my office is becoming my home soon

i think the GSM network has recently been upgraded. Nww on my hp., it revealed my current location. jesus christ, is that a good news? haha. and i figured out only those 3G Sim card are capable of showing ur currently location.

and who knows next time if u are lost and not sure of ur location, just look at ur hp

so check it out if ur hp SIM card is 3G.

Winnings

Ok this is bad. My internet connection keeps dropping off and on and i dun like the service from singnet. sigh. and i'm not sure whether it's my IE configuration or the server of some websites are down or it's singnet fault, i just can't simply surf some of the sites. it's so sad lah

My world cup winnings is quite heathly. Maybe it's slightly too conservative. Invested $40 for 4 matches with $10 a match and won $27.80 total.. but it's 100% record. at least i never lose in betting for this world cup.

and i have yet to cash in these tix! haha.. :p

This is bad. with the england performance at the 2nd half, it's look like they cannot win the world cup, but it's early to talk about this. Paraguay conceded an own goal for england at the 4th mins. and I was quite relieved that Eng won becausei betted on Eng. The odds: 1.38 when i was queuing up to buy.

So... the winnings is very small. with a $13.80 from $10 betting.

Police Carnival and World Cup

this is interesting both happy incidents fall on the same day. Why?

Police carnival and World Cup kicks off today. Since i was FORCED to buy the coupon, so i have to go to those stalls and spent the $10.

went to work by bus, it stopped at a bus stop where J has to board. but upon seeing the fully-packed passengers, i could actually see his mouth mumbling something. must be cursing the crowd of the passengers. well, i think his expressions were funny.

singnet suxs

ha.. all right, i really feel like changing to starhub cable internet but that stopped me because of the high internet charges

The connection now is not stable; dropped here and then. Can't access some of the websites. Slow or no response from Singnet. I am really fed up with their services and they actually dare to put up "dedicated access". Fuji you, singnet! i paid for the services and yet this is what they gave to me. And 2 years ago before i changed to new plan, it's the same thing happen; connection dropped, can't access this nor that website etc..

sometimes i wonder if i am thinking too much or this is their BUSINESS TACTICS/PLAN.
I wouldn't hesitate to complain things once it annoyed me. and if i gave u hint that i am quite annoyed/pissed towards some stuff, this shows that i give u face to back off.
And if u still dun feel appreciate such move, then get it more from me

anyway back to the internet thing, Shanhe was right about singnet. But again, i think i will still stick to singnet for convenience sake, since the bills is half to what i'm paying now.

1st working day @ new office

this entry is written on 6th june, but i decided to back-date to 5th.

like any other normal day, woke up at ard 6.45 am which i think the time is not sufficient for me to wash-up, breakfast, then down to office. because i was late due to the heavy traffic at PIE. sianz.. and oh yar, saw Peijun on the way to work in bus and haha, she's kinda friendlier to me than in the past..

anyway, 1st day at work in the new office, there were a lot of stuff weren't settled and this take up most of the time, in the end, we didn't do much of the thing.

The most disappointing thing over at TRACOM, is the food in the canteen!! sigh~, the price of the food, is quite expensive, since they are the only stall in canteen and maybe they are monopolising the "market"

returned home, walked the same old PIE expressway, so much dangerous and the god-damn journey is so long. but luckily, didn't doze off.

World Cup 2006

With the World Cup 2006 at Germany looming around the calender in less than a week, there are some Do's and Don'ts tips for you, especially female reader!

Aims:


Extremely important advice and recommendations to be passed on to wives, girlfriends, fiancés, mothers, sisters, daughters, etc. (to all women in general) These rules are to be communicated
prior to the World Cup in June/July this year...


LIST OF RULES


1. From 9th June to 9th July 2006, you should read the sports section of the newspaper so that you are aware of what is going on regarding the World Cup, and that way you will be able to join in the conversations. If you fail to do this, then you will be looked at in a bad way, or you will be totally ignored. DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.


2. During the World Cup, the television is mine, at all times, without any exceptions. If you even take a glimpse of the remotecontrol, you will lose it (your eye).


3. If you have to pass by in front of the TV during a game, I don’t mind, as long as you do it crawling on the floor and without distracting me. If you decide to stand nude in front of the TV, make sure you put clothes on right after because if you catch a cold, I wont have time to take you to the doctor or look after you during the World Cup month.


4. During the games I will be blind, deaf and mute, unless I require a refill of my drink or something to eat. You are out of your mind if you expect me to listen to you, open the door, answer the telephone, or pick up the baby that just fell from the second floor... it wont happen.


5. It would be a good idea for you to keep at least 2 six packs in the fridge at all times, as well as plenty of things to nibble on, and please do not make any funny faces to my friends when they come over to watch the games. In return, you will be allowed to use the TV between 6 pm and 12am, unless they replay a good game that I missed during the day.


6. Please, please, please!! if you see me upset because one of my teams is losing, DO NOT say “get over it, its only a game”, or “don’t worry, they’ll win next time”. If you say these things, you will only make me angrier and I will love you less. Remember, you will never ever know more about football than me and your so called “words of encouragement” will only lead to a break up or divorce.


7. You are welcome to sit with me to watch one game and you can talk to me during halftime but only when the commercials are on, and only if the halftime score is pleasing me. In addition, please note I am saying “one” game, hence do not use the World Cup as a nice cheesy excuse to “spend time together”.


8. The replays of the goals are very important. I don’t care if I have seen them or I haven’t seen them, I want to see them again. Many times.


9. Tell your friends NOT to have any babies, or any other child related parties or gatherings that requires my attendancebecause:
I will not go,
I will not go, and
I will not go.

But, if a friend of mine invites us to his house on a Sunday to watch a game, we will be there in a flash.


10. The daily World Cup highlights show on TV every night is just as important as the games themselves. Do not even think about saying “but you have already seen this...why don’t you change the channel to something we can all watch??”, the reply will be: “Refer to Rule #2 of this list”.


11. And finally, please save your expressions such as “Thank God the World Cup is only every 4 years”. I am immune to these words, because after this comes the Champions League, Premier League, Italian League, Spanish League, etc etc.

Communication

Bdae BBQ yesterday at ECP. Ok, like i said (forget-who) some time ago, that i will never attend any related bdae celebration anymore but yesterday was an exceptional because it was also a gathering. and so i went.

Met up ard city hall area at around 3.30 pm, wanted to get some clothes myself but i think there wasn't any of it i like, so in the end, i never get any.

reached there, eat there, ahh.. chicken wings, chicken patty, gals to look, to ogle, loud music. everything's so perfect for me.

ehh, so much the love of the food that i was eating, i forget to take those food down.. hmm.. wasted. though there were other pics, they hasn't send to me yet. shall upload them when i receive it..

i think yesterday was loads of fun but i think i quite moody now, thus unable to get the fun mood here in writing.

PX, came to my house and sleep after the bbq, and i think i was too tired to play a good host. Sorry buddy.

Watched I Not Stupid Too today and a lesson learnt today was: Communication

Most of us do not communicate,

it is a touching story, true to the hearts what happen, what is lacking, etc
and Jerry who wishes his parents to watch his performances in sch, finally had his wishes came true

and for me? I wanted my parents to come down to see my performances as a parade commander when i was in sec 3; i told them and i let them know my intention; they never gave me any response..

how depressing and disappointing it was. so Jerry was lucky, in the end

and for NP students tomolo, i wish Jenyin, Jasmine and my sun nu, Yingjia and Joan, all their best for their CTs.

TRACOM days!

The final waiting days were over! shifted to our new yet old place to work. Alrite, reached there at around 0845 hrs.. so boring.. what a long 45 mins journey in the bus.
