today's entry is slightly about more useful stuff.
though i'm not a computer expert, but i would like to share some information with all of you and hopefully all of you are able to prevent it instead of solving the problem when it is there.
Virus/Worms
Everyone scared of this. Modern virus are able to do anything from nothing to destroying ur content in ur computer. They are able to hide it from the anti virus program.
So the qns is, how to prevent it?

Internet. Email. Instant Chat Software -> MSN Messenger, Yahoo! IM.
Prevention/Cure
1.) To install an anti-virus software and update it frequently.
2.) If the email received contained attachment with the format looks suspicious. Do not open. Check it out with your friend. Do not open it especially when the sender isn't someone you know.
3.)Do not install thing that you were told to do. You might never know what it will do to your computer. Unless it's from some big and DECENT company like, Microsoft; Macromedia, etc.
4.)There was a period whereby virus are passed on through instant chat messenger. I didn't got it because i know the problem. If you all still remember the pattern, the virus was passed on in this way.
Heya, ... etc, etc. (Talk like a punk from US)
then a file was added in and about to send to you
then
in a few seconds, a very long sentence was typed out.
Now, it's good to think. Did your friend chatting pattern is like that (talk like a punk from US)?and who can typed a very long sentence in a few seconds. Therefore, you have a very good reason to suspect. but the bottom line is to OUTWIT the virus by looking out on things like: pattern of the sender.
Spywares
Getting common and common. It affected your computer from the range of "nothing" to "null your operations"

For this, it would be recommended to adopt a Prevention method rather than Cure.
Download spybot or contact me for more software.
Again, do not download/install anything that you are unsure of as it will really giving a chance for them to cyber-attack your computer.
well. all in all, it's to be careful and to think cleverly and it will go a long way to protect yours and your friends & family computers.
