Good News

1. Need not work on thursday as it is a National Day


2. ORD lunch on wednesday 08/08/07


3. 1st driving lesson/orientation on 15/08/07 (like~~ finally)


4. Thai trip (yet again)

Been heavily communicating with madeline, jenyin, twin on these few weeks. Hmm, went out with them too.

Went to apply for PDL on sat morning. Thought that Final Theory validity is 2 years and so i am taking my own sweet time to apply. Anyway, after checking again with the Basic Theory Test Book, it stated that the validity of the Final Theory last for 2 years. So, anyone who tell me that it's 1 year, will kenna scolding by me, because these people may have even pass the FTT.

Headed down to Bugis, Sim Lim Square for a walk with Soo Teck and my laptop is still not ok yet. Zzzz

Went out for KTV and dinner on saturday. and as usual, both of my chat buddies sang very well. and for me, though i'm not very good singer, my standard fell below than my usual level (though i dun have any standard)

Had dinner at Botak Jones and halfway the dinner, saw my cousin! We stolled all the way to Batok from Clementi then took a bus from batok back home. It's actually very cooling la..

Congratulations to my another cousin who held his wedding dinner on sunday 05/08/07 in Orchard Parade Hotel. It's a fantastically nice dinner. Bloated when they served the 3rd out of the 10 dishes.

Went home after that.

ORD lunch from my section will be on tomorrow. ok, i think i am quite cursed in soem sense. First in NPCC, I didn't have a simple ORD lunch/dinner. Then in SPF, the ORD lunch is in office. of course, I'm not saying ST is not good. In fact, he is very helpful and initiative to help me do my job. so thanks a lot. Anyway, i already submitted to my fate la. But can be a good thing to have in office also.

Booked for a driving lesson cum orientation on wed and that's 2 days before my thai trip.

Thailand~~ here i come again! Kindly do not contact me between 17th and 20th morning. Anyone found doing so, will be penalised by treating me for meals when i am back in singapore. Anyway, i will be using their pre-paid card.

Bad News

1. Force to study in SIM
2. Work output was terrible these few weeks
3. ORD soon

After listening to one of my cousin's comment, my mum said that i should study and insisted me on doing that. No problem with that actually, but she persuaded me and forced me to work around 2 years ago, citing reason that because I need to go to the society to be "tortured" first, and to gain some experience and then to study. She also mentioned that no need to study so early la, later soem company might even send u for course if you have good performances.

Then just after listening the comment and allow only a FEW mins to take effect, she started to make an amazing u-turn decision to force/insist to study. She called for a discussion and after hearing me out that i feel like working first explaining that I am not prepare to study as first i am not strong in academically, secondly i am still considering waht i should study.

She then scolded me upside down and even got into quarrel. Ok, this is what u call discussion. Then there's no point, well.. a very typical Lee Kuan Yew's pattern. But never mind, i managed and somehow told her i am only working for a year. As of now, the case is closed. I can't
guarantee the future though.

ORD soon and all the benefits i am enjoying now will disappear. I really dun understand why people like to ORD if we are not talking about the allowance component. Our transport is subsidized, our basic medical are waived and free things to enjoy too. So, what is it so bad to ORD.

Ok, i'm quite confuse to say anything else.
